Twice each year, the Rotary Club of Northallerton holds spring and autumn Fayres in the Lower Town Hall in Northallerton. The next Autumn Fayre will be on Saturday 1 October, from 9 am until noon, in the Lower Town Hall. The Rotary Club covers the cost of hiring the hall, and to recoup the cost will serve refreshments and biscuits, with tray bakes and cakes from Pendragon Community Trust, and home-made chocolates on sale from Autism Plus. Stalls are made available to local charities at no cost to them, so that all the money they make goes to their charity. In this way, the Rotary Club is able to help the charities in a positive way. The charities manning stalls will be Pendragon Community Trust, Autism Plus, Northallerton Handbell Ringers, Friends of the Friarage, Hutton Bonville Women’s Institute, Brain Tumour Research, and Multiple Sclerosis Society. This is a vital fundraising opportunity for the charities, so please support them if you can. Local charities are invited to request a stall at the next Spring Fayre on Saturday 13 May 2017, by contacting David Paramore on 01609 779650.
